We matched 20 top students (16 categorical, two advanced, one Panther Research Scholar, and one combined anesthesiology/pediatrics) from over 1,700 candidates who applied to our program. Our 2022 match class has an average USMLE Step 1 score of 250 and includes many members of the Alpha Omega Alpha national medical honor society and the Gold Humanism Honor Society.
The publication showed that that resident participation in our APP rotation was significantly associated with more scholarly activity during residency.
