During March 2026, certified registered nurse anesthetists (CRNAs) at UPMC Presbyterian hosted a monetary drive to support the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank. Pain Day 2026 Showcases Interdisciplinary Pain Research Across Pittsburgh

The event drew more than 200 attendees and underscored the strength of Pittsburgh’s collaborative pain research ecosystem, featuring cross-disciplinary basic and clinical science from the University of Pittsburgh, Carnegie Mellon University, and Duquesne University.

UPMC Anesthesiology Matches 22 Outstanding Residents for 2026

This year, UPMC Anesthesiology successfully matched 22 outstanding trainees, comprising 18 categorical residents, one advanced resident, two PANTHER Research Scholars, and one Combined Anesthesiology/Pediatrics resident.
