Operating since 1974, the symposium is the oldest continually running CRNA conference in the tri-state area, offering high quality continuing education lectures for CRNAs, SRNAs, registered nurses, and anesthesia techs.

The University of Pittsburgh School of Nursing Nurse Anesthesia Program celebrated their 2023 graduating class on Friday, December 15th at the University Club.

John W. Jones, MSN, CRNA, works at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital as a nurse anesthetist in the anesthesiology department.

The Magee Anesthesia Cares Committee, comprised of dedicated Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists at UPMC Magee-Womens Hospital, along with their family members and friends, recently came together to support two impactful community events.

Laura Wiggins, DNP, MSN, CRNA, Lt. Col. (retired), USAF, is one of the OB Clinical Coordinators for the Nurse Anesthesia Program and an Assistant Professor at the University of Pittsburgh School of Nursing. She primarily works at UPMC Magee-Womens Hospital as a CRNA.

In collaboration with John M. O'Donnell, DrPH, CRNA, and faculty in the University of Pittsburgh Nurse Anesthesia Program, we cohosted a Student Mentorship Workshop on November 4, 2023, at UPMC Shadyside.
