Application Process

Upon submission of a fellowship application, fellows will be selected by a review committee on the basis of letters of reference and an interview.

Application documentation required:

1. Completed application submitted through the San Francisco Match
2. Personal statement
3. Three letters of recommendation (one must be from Residency Program Director)
4. MSPE/Dean’s Letter
5. Medical school transcript
6. CV
7. Exam scores (USMLE Steps 1,2,3 or equivalent)
8. ECFMG certificate (if applicable)
9. Must be a graduate of an ACGME-accredited residency program

Any supplemental materials that the SF Match does not accept should be emailed to aneseducation@upmc.edu, attention: Patricia Dalby, MD, Program Director, Obstetric Anesthesiology Fellowship.
