Congratulations to the Vanish Biodegradable Stimulator team led by Trent D. Emerick, MD, MBA, who finished in second place and won $35,000 in services in the LifeX Labs/Pittsburgh Life Sciences Greenhouse-sponsored Life Sciences Accelerator business pitch competition. The teams comprised University of Pittsburgh, Carnegie Mellon University, and Duquesne University projects on life science topics.
The Vanish project also recently won $50,000 in the Virginia Kaufman Pain Research Challenge
