Our residents organized a book club last month focused on the recently published fiction book The Stairs on Billy Buck Hill authored by our faculty member, Steven L. Orebaugh, MD. Participating residents, faculty, and staff from our department purchased copies of the book in advance, and Dr. Orebaugh donated proceeds from the book sale to Light of Life, an organization that provides community outreach programs and assists individuals homelessness, poverty, or addiction. The donated funds will help provide food, shelter, and care to people in need in the community.
