We are pleased to share that Jamie Currie, MSN, CRNA, has accepted the position of Assistant CRNA Clinical Director at UPMC Altoona effective August 24, 2025.
Jamie brings more than a decade of clinical experience, the majority of which has been at UPMC Altoona, where she has been an integral member of the anesthesia team and has served in leadership as a charge CRNA. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Pittsburgh Nurse Anesthesia Program and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Pittsburgh.
In addition to her clinical expertise, Jamie has a strong passion for mentorship, education, and professional development. She is dedicated to fostering collaboration and teamwork, qualities that will serve her well in this leadership role. Beyond her work at UPMC, Jamie also serves in the United States Navy Reserve, further reflecting her commitment to service and leadership. Jamie is enthusiastic about stepping into this new role and continuing to support excellence in patient care, CRNA engagement, and professional growth within our department.
