With great pleasure, we announce the results of our 2018 Anesthesiology Residency Program match. This was an extremely strong year, with 15 of our top 30 candidates choosing to match with us. These included nine students from the Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) Honor Medical Society, designating them as top medical students within their respective schools (AOA students are marked with an asterisk (*) below). Thanks to Drs. Pat Forte (Chair of the Selection Committee), Ted Sakai (Associate Program Director), Bill Simmons (who interviewed almost every candidate), and our entire Education Office staff (Shana Heald, Cynthia Kral, Barb Chismar, Kathy Lee Foon, Risa Panichelle, and Monique Dowdy) for all their help with the interview process. Also, a special thanks to our residents for their active participation in the selection and our faculty who work with and teach our residents every day and make us one of the top residency programs in the country!
