In January 2020, we developed a formal department Mentor-Mentee Program. The initial target faculty members for this program include junior academic faculty and newly hired faculty members of the department.
Our Faculty Fellow Advanced Scholarship Training Program (FFAST) provides financial support for faculty to pursue advanced degrees (including MBA, MHA, MPH, MS) mainly in University of Pittsburgh graduate programs. Please contact Dr. Aman Mahajan.
Physician well-being has been recognized as an acute issue to be addressed. UPMC offers a number of physician wellness programs and AMA honors UPMC as one of 22 national medical organizations committing to cutting doctor burnout.
