Favorite aspects of our residency program: I really love all my co-residents and it was the place that I felt most at home over any other on the interview trail. The program directors are excellent and will support you in any way possible. I was incredibly impressed that there are virtually no weak aspects to the program with incredibly strong ICU, regional, OB, and cardiac training that will set you up for success in any fellowship or job. It is also incredible to be surrounded by so many other talented residents, as all the surgical programs are quite excellent and working with our friends across the drapes is quite collegial and enjoyable.
Hobbies: Soccer, cycling, hanging out with my fiancée and dog Poppy, camping/hiking, brewery hopping, Italian food
Post-residency plans: Possible cardiac fellowship or testing out the job market
