Dr. Harikesh Subramanian is a cardiothoracic and liver transplantation anesthesiologist who is actively involved in our perioperative transesophageal and transthoracic echocardiography services, as well as our perioperative consult service at the UPMC Center for Perioperative Care. He is currently completing a master's degree in biomedical informatics at the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Subramanian received the Early Career Investigator Award at the Society of Cardiovascular Anesthesiologists 2020 meeting as well as seed grant funding from our department for the period of March 1, 2020 – February 28, 2021 for his project “Ex-vivo Study of Drug Sequestration by ECMO Circuits.”
