A group of UPMC Presbyterian CRNAs participated in the 2019 Tunch and Wolf Light of Life Walk for the Homeless on May 25, 2019. This year marked the 9th time a group of Presby nurse anesthetists volunteered at the event.

The group, which included Karen Florian, Courtney Smith, Shannon Grossi, and Julie Ernst-Dixon and her husband, handed out sun block, antihistamines, and band aids, promoted awareness of the Stop the Bleed campaign, and met local celebrities Sally Wiggin, Rich Fitzgerald, and former Steeler and walk sponsor Tunch Ilkin.
