Congratulations to Daniela Damian, MD, and Cameron Sutton, MD, who were nominated by anesthesia technician Jeremy Brake-Zacherl for a KIDS First Award in recognition of efforts that re-enforce and demonstrate the vision, mission, and values of UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. Jeremy submitted the nomination to recognize a time when the three clinicians went above and beyond to comfort a pediatric patient who had come in for a lengthy surgical procedure. We commend this dedicated group for their compassion and care in taking the extra time to do something that meant the world to a patient.
