Congratulations to our PGY-3 resident Philip Carullo, MD, who was selected by Pennsylvania Medical Society (PAMED) as one of their “Top Physicians Under 40” for 2018. This PAMED award annually recognizes the best of the best early career physicians in Pennsylvania. Candidates are high achievers who inspire others and work to advance medicine and/or their community, either through employment or volunteer work. Dr. Carullo has led several local efforts to fight and raise awareness about the opioid epidemic, such as “Medical Providers Against Opioid Addiction,” which raised over $8,000 towards the cause. PAMED will recognize the Under 40 winners at a reception on Friday, October 26, 2018.
