Congratulations to Tetsuro Sakai, MD, PhD, MHA, FASA, and Kathirvel Subramaniam, MD, MPH, FASE, who have been invited to serve on the editorial boards of prestigious anesthesiology journals.
Drs. Sakai and Subramaniam were invited to serve as Associate Editors of Clinical Transplantation: The Journal of Clinical and Translational Research. Clinical Transplantation is the official journal of the American Society of Transplantation and the American Society of Transplant Surgeons and will become the official journal of the Society for Advancement of Transplant Anesthesia. The journal is considered essential reading for researchers and clinicians in the multidisciplinary field of transplantation and targets readers who manage patients needing or having organ or tissue transplants, including those of the kidney, intestine, liver, pancreas, islets, heart, heart valves, lung, bone marrow, cornea, skin, bone, and cartilage.
Additionally, Dr. Subramaniam will join the editorial board of Journal of Cardiothoracic and Vascular Anesthesia (JCVA). JCVA is primarily aimed at anesthesiologists who manage patients undergoing cardiac, thoracic, or vascular surgical procedures and features a multidisciplinary approach, with contributions from cardiac, vascular, and thoracic surgeons, cardiologists, and other related specialists.
