Congratulations to Trent D. Emerick, MD, MBA, who was selected as a winner of the Physician Excellence Award - Early - to Mid - Career Physician Excellence in Clinical Care in recognition of his exceptional contributions to clinical work and patient care at UPMC.
His colleagues who nominated him for the award called him an “amazing,” “excellent,” and “model” physician who is “always pushing the boundaries,” has “improved anticoagulation guidelines related to pain interventional procedures,” is “highly liked by patients and colleagues,” and “prioritizes high-quality patient care and meets patients where they are.”
Dr. Emerick will be honored for the award during the virtual 2021 Dr. Loren Roth Quality and Patient Safety Awards Celebration on September 29th, 2021.
