Congratulations to Tomas Drabek, MD, PhD, who has been appointed to serve as a member of the Society for Critical Care Medicine Scientific Review Committee. The committee organizes and executes activities related to broadening the research focus to include a full trajectory from basic science through translational, clinical, outcomes, and operations research. It also provides research education and guidance to members of the society. The appointment is for a three-year term, 2017–2020.
