Congratulations to Tetsuro Sakai, MD, PhD, MHA, FASA, who was selected to serve a two-year term on the Association of University Anesthesiologists (AUA) inaugural Leadership Advisory Board (LAB). The LAB will provide resources for AUA members’ professional development to succeed as academic anesthesiology leaders, inspire and empower the next generation of anesthesiologists and academic anesthesiology leaders, work to establish an equitable and inclusive environment for AUA members, and engage in outreach within academic anesthesiology to encourage diversity within the AUA membership.
