Congratulations to Ted Sakai, MD, PhD, MHA, FASA, who assumed the position of President of the Society for the Advancement of Transplant Anesthesiologists (SATA) on August 1, 2021. SATA is an independent, clinician-based, professional association to serve anesthesiologists and critical care specialists involved in the practice of the complex field of transplantation medicine and surgery. Dr. Sakai will serve as SATA’s President for two years.
