Siamak Salavatian, PhD, Director of Neuromodulation Research in our department, has been extended invitations to present his work at three upcoming scientific events.
First, he will present “Direct Stimulation of the Autonomic Nervous System and Arrhythmias” at the annual conference of the International Society for Computerized Electrocardiology (ISCE) in Braselton, GA, scheduled from April 3-7, 2024. The ISCE gathering will convene a diverse array of professionals including scientists, clinicians, engineers, and policy makers committed to advancing electrocardiography through innovative computer methods.
Next, on April 17, 2024, Dr. Salavatian will contribute to the UCLA Cardiac Neurobiology Research Program’s Distinguished Speaker Series with his virtual talk “Spinal Neuromodulation to Treat Cardiac Arrhythmias.”
Last, Dr. Salavatian will present “Myocardial Ischemic Challenges and Neural Control Strategies” at the 16th World Congress of the International Neuromodulation Society (INS) in Vancouver, Canada, from May 11-16, 2024. The INS congress will assemble over 1,500 prominent figures including scientists, researchers, engineers, device developers, and healthcare providers to push the boundaries of the neuromodulation field. The theme for the 2024 meeting underscores the transformative impact of the field on disease treatment, highlighting proven therapies delivered through refined and personalized techniques.
