On October 2, Jacques E. Chelly, MD, PhD, MBA presented the lecture “Changing the Culture to Manage Perioperative Pain” to the UPMC Shadyside pain nurses at their Professional Practice and Development Council meeting; he also presented “Use of the Bridge System for the Management of Perioperative Pain in Surgical Oncology Patients” to the Shadyside foundation board on October 10. On October 23rd, he will present on the reduction of opioids in the perioperative period to the Pain Resource Nurse Council at UPMC Shadyside.
