"Headshot of Doctor Mahajan"

Congratulations to Principal Investigators (PIs) Aman Mahajan, MD, PhD, MBA; Gale Lucas, PhD (University of Southern California); and Celine Tien (CEO, Tamadé, LLC), who received a grant from the National Institute on Drug Abuse for their project “Opioid-sparing pain management for Chronic Low Back Pain patients using TMCCP01 - A VANISH (Virtual Autonomic Neuromodulation Induced Systemic Healing)-based Program.” In this project, the PIs will develop a pain management alternative that combines virtual reality and biofeedback to reduce medication use, increase pain management, and increase overall functionality for patients with chronic low back pain who take opioids daily.
