Doreen Soliman, MD, Associate Professor of Anesthesiology and Residency Site Coordinator at UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh, has been recognized with the 2024–2025 Faculty of the Year Award from the Allegheny Health Network (AHN) Department of Anesthesiology.
The award, presented on behalf of AHN anesthesiology residents, honors Dr. Soliman’s exceptional commitment to resident education and mentorship. In the award citation, she was commended “in recognition of your continued dedication to resident education.”
The AHN Anesthesiology Residency Program offers robust clinical training across four major Pittsburgh-area hospitals: Allegheny General Hospital, West Penn Hospital, Forbes Hospital, and UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. Dr. Soliman’s leadership and guidance at UPMC Children’s play a vital role in the program’s educational mission.
