The 36th annual Family House Polo Match was held on September 14, 2019 at Hartwood Acres. Event proceeds went to Family House Pittsburgh, an organization serving over 24,000 patients and families staying in Pittsburgh for medical care every year by providing affordable, accessible, compassionate, quality housing through the generosity of donors and volunteers.
Many department members attended the polo match and contributed to make the event a success. Several CRNAs and SRNAs from UPMC Presbyterian volunteered their time working at the polo match. Also, John P. Williams, MD and his wife Valerie Trott Williams, who serve on the Family House Board of Directors, hosted and sponsored a fancy tailgate party at the event.
