The University of Pittsburgh Office of Academic Career Development’s 2020 Leadership Academy for Early Career Faculty is a year-long professional development program designed to cultivate a generation of transformative academic leaders through shared leadership training. Program applicants must be nominated and are subjected to a competitive selection process.
Congratulations to our T32 postdoctoral scholar Ben Alter, MD, PhD, who was accepted into the 2020 program, which will start on January 30 and conclude on December 8.
In addition, department faculty member Franklyn P. Cladis, MD will participate in the program as part of the instructional leadership team. He will teach the session “Managing Difficult Situations” on September 17, 2020 from 8:30am - 12:00pm.
