Our CRNAs coordinate many community service projects throughout the year, often around the holidays. On December 12, our CRNAs at UPMC Presbyterian hosted a dinner for the guests at University Place Family House. Family House provides affordable and accessible housing for patients seeking medical treatment in Pittsburgh and/or their families.

The Presbyterian CRNAs also delivered cookies to four Family Houses, Fisher House at the VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System, and UPMC Presbyterian’s Same Day Services, surgical family waiting room, and family waiting rooms for several intensive care units. CRNAs Sharon Weaver, Karen Florian, and Leanna Madich, with assistance from Leanna's daughter Emma & her friend Alex, both Chatham nursing students, delivered the donated cookies.
