In honor of CRNA week (January 24-30, 2016), the Nurse Anesthetists at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC (CHP) organized an effort to give back to the families of the children that they care for every day. They provided breakfast, afternoon snacks, and baked goods for patients and their families at multiple sites throughout the hospital during CRNA week. They were able to extend this service to the families of the Surgical Family Lounge at the CHP main hospital, the Surgical Family Lounge at the CHP North Surgery Center, and the Pediatric, Cardiac, and Neonatal Intensive Care Units.
