Clinical Team Spreads Halloween Cheer to Patients at UPMC Children’s Hospital

"Team members dressed in costume"

Our CRNAs Melissa Dupilka, Jen Kundick, Leslie Wylie, and Michael Scott from UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh (CHP) participated in the facility’s annual trick or treat event by passing out small gifts to the children who had to spend their Halloween in the hospital. Funds from the CHP CRNA fund and donations from CRNA Kevin Dom and Dr. Mallory Bugel were used to purchase the gifts. Over 100 children participated in the 2019 trick or treat event. CHP Anesthesiology also participated in the hospital’s annual pumpkin decorating contest, spreading cheer with their “cheer virus” pumpkins.
