Cindy McGettigan, Clinical CRNA Director of UPMC East & UPMC McKeesport, will be retiring in December of this year after 30 years of dedicated service and remarkable leadership. Cindy previously served as CRNA Director of UPMC Braddock and UPMC Monroeville Surgery Center and was instrumental in the opening of UPMC East. She also twice served as the Interim Senior CRNA Director for our department. We extend our sincere appreciation for Cindy’s contributions as a CRNA and valued leader and wish her the best in her well-deserved retirement.
We are pleased to announce that Tammy L. Nuzzo, MHS, CRNA, has accepted the role of CRNA Clinical Director for UPMC East and UPMC McKeesport effective October 25, 2020. Tammy has been a CRNA at UPMC since 2005, first working at UPMC Shadyside and joining UPMC East in 2012. Tammy also works clinically at UPMC Digestive Health and Endoscopy Center. She serves as a member of the UPMC East Surgical Services Professional Practice Council and Clinical Instructor for the University of Pittsburgh School of Nursing Nurse Anesthesia Program. She holds a Master of Science in Nursing from LaRoche College and Excela Health Nurse Anesthesia Program and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Pittsburgh.
