Chad Artman Wins Platinum Star Award

Congratulations to Chad Artman, a CRNA at UPMC Presbyterian, who was chosen as a winner of the UPMC Physician Services Platinum (Robert J. Mientus) Star Award. The award recognizes staff members who consistently contribute to the success of their practice/department and work well with colleagues and the UPMC community, contribute toward workplace effectiveness/efficiency, implement approaches to impact productivity; develop cost-saving plans; exhibit excellent customer service; demonstrate positive interpersonal skills that support diversity; and work on special projects.

Chad and other winners of this award and similar awards will be honored at an employee recognition luncheon on August 30, 2017 at The University Club. The award comes with a $500 prize and automatically designates recipients at winners of the UPMC Award for Commitment and Excellence in Service (ACES), a prestigious honor bestowed upon fewer than 1 percent of UPMC staff who exemplify the health system’s five core values of quality & safety, dignity & respect, caring & listening, responsibility & integrity, and excellence & innovation.
