2019 UPMC CRNA Conference a Triumph

"Department members stand next to a poster at a table"

Our 2019 UPMC CRNA Conference held March 22-March 24, 2019 at Nemacolin Woodlands Resort was a huge success. The event promoted professional collegiality and provided the opportunity for CRNAs to share techniques, review principles, learn about new changes within the field of nurse anesthesia, and earn continuing education credits. The conference “sold out” – every available seat was filled.

The activities kicked off with opening remarks from Senior CRNA Director Toni Orsino, CRNA, MBA on days one and two and Executive Vice Chair/Vice Chair for Clinical Operations Mark E. Hudson, MD, MBA on day three. The conference speakers, including 17 CRNAs from our department, presented 18 lectures:
