WISER Hosting Event on the Importance of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in Healthcare Simulation

The Winter Institute for Simulation, Education, and Research (WISER) is hosting the event “Getting WISER on Diversity, Equity & Inclusion in Healthcare Education: The Roles of Simulation” on April 8, 2022, both virtually and on-site at 230 McKee Place, Pittsburgh, PA. Participants will have the opportunity to speak, share, and brainstorm with some of the best in the business. The event will feature the keynote speakers Dr. Kellie Bryant, Assistant Dean of Clinical Affairs and Simulation at Columbia University School of Nursing, and Dr. Victoria Brazil, Professor of Emergency Medicine & Director of Simulation at the Gold Coast Health Service. Also participating in the event from our department are Paul E. Phrampus, MD, FACEP, and John M. O'Donnell, MSN, DrPH, CRNA. Please visit the event website to register by the March 28th deadline.
