Research, Clinical, and/or Academic Interests

Dr. Adams' research is focused on investigating intrinsic nitric oxide (NO) levels in patients with congenital heart disease (CHD). He has published papers regarding non-invasive NO assessment and its relationship with cardiovascular physiology and patient outcomes. Current and future studies intend to build on this novel work to gain a comprehensive understanding of the role of intrinsic NO levels in patients with complex CHD.
