Tenth edition of Smith’s Anesthesia for Infants and Children

The 10th edition of Smith's Anesthesia for Infants and Children, edited by Peter J. Davis, MD, and Franklyn P. Cladis, MD, was published in December 2021. The book, originally written by distinguished pediatric anesthesia pioneer Dr. Robert Smith, is referred to as “the bible” of pediatric anesthesia The book provides clear, concise guidance on effective perioperative care for all types of pediatric surgery.

The book’s renowned expert authors in pediatric anesthesia include our department faculty members Phillip Adams, DO, FASA; Brian Blasiole, MD, PhD; Thomas M. Chalifoux, MD; Denise M.
