We are proud to share the results of our Obstetric Anesthesiology Fellowship match for academic year 2024-2025. Congratulations to Drs. Zachary Ligus and Max Yue Qiu, who join us next year to begin their training!
Zachary Ligus, MD
Medical School: University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine
Residency: University of Rochester Medical Center
Achievements: Dr. Ligus currently holds a faculty position at UPMC Mercy hospital and was elected to be one of the three class chiefs during his final year of residency. His mentors have described him as an excellent anesthesiologist and one of the top residents in his residency class.
Max Yue Qiu, MMeD, MB
Medical School: Xiangya School of Medicine
Residency: UPMC
Achievements: Dr. Qiu has been awarded several scholarship awards that are given to students in the top 3% of their class. Her mentors have described her to be very meticulous and hardworking in the operating room. She is known for being extremely responsible and diligent when working with patients.
