Tram Duran, MD, received the 2023 Clerkship Preceptor of the Year Award at this year’s University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine (UPSOM) curriculum colloquium. The award honors her for “Outstanding Achievement in Educating Future Physicians,” an honor which is well deserved.
The Clerkship Preceptor of the Year award was established to recognize faculty clinical preceptors who consistently provide outstanding clinical instruction in the clerkship setting for Pitt medical students. Honorees are selected by the UPSOM Awards Committee and conferred by the Dean based on nominations from students and faculty.
Congratulations, Dr. Duran! You are a valuable member of our educational team and bring honor to our department. Thanks, also, to all of our anesthesiology educators who provide such a valuable service to Pitt med students!
