Congratulations to Charles Lin MD, MSc, who was awarded one of only three 2024 Early Career Research Awards from the Society for Simulation in Healthcare (SSH) for his research project “Use of a Focused Hybrid Curriculum and Task Trainer to Train and Maintain Surgical Airway Skills Among Anesthesia Providers.” The award was announced at the 24th International Meeting on Simulation in Healthcare (IMSH 2024) on January 23, 2024, during the Plenary Session.

The grant accompanying the award will be instrumental in supporting Dr. Lin's research team as they embark on an initiative to provide this specialized training to anesthesiologists and nurse anesthetists within our department through upcoming workshops.
