UPMC Children's CRNAs Bring Holiday Joy Through Angel Project

Alt text: Three healthcare workers in scrubs standing behind a black cart filled with wrapped Christmas presents and holiday gift bags. The cart displays multiple festive packages with red bows and branded gift tags. A large red Santa's Workshop donation bag sits on the floor in front. The setting is a medical facility break room decorated with a small Christmas tree and holiday decor.

Our certified registered nurse anesthetists (CRNAs) at UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh again partnered with the Neighborhood Resilience Angel Project to spread seasonal cheer throughout the community.

The initiative connects volunteers with children and families in need, providing personalized holiday gifts that make the season brighter. Working with Neighborhood Resilience, a Hill District community organization dedicated to supporting local residents, our CRNA team carefully selected presents to match the unique wish lists of 25 children across all age groups, from toddlers to teens, as well as five seniors.

By delivering exceptional patient care within hospital walls while creating meaningful connections beyond them, the CRNAs at UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh strengthen the bonds that build healthier, more vibrant communities.
