We are delighted to announce the 2026 match results for the UPMC Anesthesiology Residency Program, including the Combined Anesthesiology/Pediatrics Residency and the PANTHER Research Track.
This year, UPMC Anesthesiology successfully matched 22 outstanding trainees, comprising 18 categorical residents, one advanced resident, two PANTHER Research Scholars, and one Combined Anesthesiology/Pediatrics resident. Selected from a highly competitive national applicant pool, these incoming residents represent medical schools and training environments from across the country and bring with them a wide array of academic interests, clinical strengths, and professional experiences.
The Class of 2030 represents medical schools and training environments from across the country and will make meaningful contributions to the department’s clinical care, educational mission, and research efforts. We are excited to support their growth throughout residency and look forward to the energy and perspective they will bring.
