Lauren Twigg, Anesthesia Technician at UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh, has been selected as a Kids First Award recipient. The Children’s Employee Experience Committee chose Lauren for this honor in recognition of her exceptional dedication to patient care, teamwork, and the core values that define the UPMC Children’s Hospital community.
Lauren was nominated by colleague Rhiannon Bordenick, Manager of the Department of Anesthesia Specialties & Technicians at UPMC Children’s. Rhiannon highlighted Lauren’s unwavering commitment to improving patient safety and supporting the anesthesia team.
