Daniel Kim, MD, anesthesiology resident in our department, has been honored with the Pitt Med Professionalism Accolade in recognition of his outstanding service, teaching, and mentorship.
The accolade was submitted through the Pitt Med PAIR program, an initiative that allows University of Pittsburgh medical and graduate students to recognize individuals for their extraordinary professionalism and service to others.
In their nomination, the medical student wrote: “[Dr. Kim] went above and beyond to create an inviting learning environment… He advocated for me to attempt various procedures and looped me in to the higher-level decision making that was done pre-operatively. He is an exceptional teacher and deserves recognition for his commitment to medical student education.”
Congratulations to Dr. Kim on receiving this well-deserved honor.
